August 29-30 Weekend Recap

Psalm 92One serious adjustment I’ve had to make in coming off the road full-time to serving at a church is working within the corporate mechanism.  Some of it has been a welcome transition, but there are other moments that I find it cumbersome and frustrating.

This isn’t a forum for the specific details, but the past week was kind of a rough one for me.  We’re facing some things in our church, and I believe that we’re having to discern where God is leading and who we are as we grow as a church and together as followers of Jesus.  Definitely not a unique situation here.  I’ve counseled and consulted hundreds of churches facing these exact circumstances.  The process of change and growth in any organization can be very challenging, and we’re working through the process here.

In spite of circumstances and situations, I choose joy!  God has done so much in my life.  He has been faithful and loved me when I’ve been unfaithful and undeserving of love.  So…I sing for joy because of what He has done!!!

Here is the set list from this weekend:

Your Grace Is Enough – G
Holy Is The Lord – G
Your Are Good – A
Overcome – A
You Never Let Go – G

Have a  great week!

Andy

  1. Thanks for sharing. I love the honesty. So often leaders are told NOT to be transparent about the mechanism . Like we would be sacrireligous to tell of our struggles. That is so far from the truth. I appreciate you.
