This past week was Spring Break here in Phoenix, so my family was fortunate enough to get away for a couple days. Â We stayed at the cabin of a generous family in the church up near Flagstaff, in Munds Park. Â It was very relaxing and refreshing to have a couple days to spend some fun time with the kids, quiet time reading on the deck, and walking to the lake in the crisp mountain air.
We got back home on Saturday, giving me just enough time to change strings on my guitar and then head to the church for rehearsal. Â I introduced my new arrangement of Be Thou My Vision, with a new chorus that I wrote for this hymn. Â I love this song, and really wanted to take the heart of it’s message and draw people into expressive worship and praise. Â People really seemed to connect quickly with the new chorus and sink into the song as it built.
SET LIST:

My Lord Jesus – B Â Â (Andy Allen original, recording not available yet)

Over the next couple weeks we begin preparations for Easter. Â I’m looking forward to seeing God move in a very cool way in people’s lives as we celebrate Jesus and His incredible gift of life to us. Â In the coming weeks, I pray that God’s blessings will be all over your life.

Good to see you blogging.
