May 9-10 Weekend Recap

First things first:  Happy Mother’s Day!!!

This was a big weekend for my family.  Mother’s Day Sunday, Brenna’s 6th birthday party on Saturday, and our oldest daughter Tia coming in to visit for a few days.  With Tia starting college this past October, and us moving to Phoenix in November….it’s really great to spend time together and laugh…a lot!  I must say thanks to Jared Utterback for filling in and leading worship for our Saturday night service.  This gave me a night off, and time to hang with the family.

Mark’s message this week was on “Knowing Your Anointing.”  God has given His anointing to His people.  We all play different roles as we serve in God’s Kingdom, and He has given us all gifts and an anointing to empower us as we are on this journey.  I’m thankful for the way God gives us strength and ability to serve His people, and for His anointing.  Here is the set from this Sunday:
