I spent several days with Kieran in Washington DC this week. Â As an 8th Grade Graduation gift, we take our kids to DC to see the capitol. Â My sister Lexie lives with her family in Alexandria, VA (suburb of DC) and we love a chance to visit them, and it’s a free place to stay…a win-win. Â Monuments, Museums, Memorials and State Buildings made for a busy and fun time of touring our capitol city. Â It was also some great one-on-one time with my boy.
Pam led worship for our Saturday service this week. Â I made it back just in time to jump into rehearsal and play on the team. Â It was cool to play as part of the band without leading, just to get a different feel for the service. Â Pam did a great job (as usual) even though we had a couple technical glitches. Â Here is the set list from Saturday:
Indescribable – C
Everlasting God – F
Fill Me Now – C (Phil Aud – recording not available)
The Stand – E
Wonderful Maker – Eb
Sunday morning services definitely went so much smoother than last week.  The technical  bumps were smoothed out, and our team locked in nicely.  There was a cool sense that God was moving in our time of worship together.  Here is the set from Sunday:
Let It Rise – E
Turn Your Eyes – E (Heath Michael Bottomly – The Rest Is Silence)
Be Thou My Vision – E (with new chorus by Andy Allen, recording not yet available)
Hosanna – E
Rescue – C
Have a great week!
Andy
